Important Notes:
*Note from the nurse: As part of the eight components of school health, School Nurses conduct periodic vision, dental, hearing, blood pressure, and other screenings as recommended by SC DHEC, and as needed as part of the nurse's assessment during a health room visit. These screenings are important in early detection of hearing or vision difficulties that may impact teaching and learning. Many times a student is not even aware he/she is having difficulty seeing the board, reading, or hearing classroom instructions. Please contact Nurse Mishoe if you do NOT want a screening done on your child. The Lion's Club will be here next Wednesday, Nov 8th to perform vision screenings.
*Hello Lake Carolina Lower Families! The time has come to begin planning for our Annual Veterans Day Celebration here at Lower Campus. We would love to invite Active Duty or Veteran personnel to join us Friday, November 10th to enjoy breakfast and participate in a parade. A catered breakfast by Golden Corral will be available beginning at 7:15 for the Active Duty or Veteran members as well as their Lower Campus student(s). We invite you to stay and walk in the parade with your student at 8:30. If your student has a deployed parent, please feel free to send a representative to enjoy breakfast and the parade as we want to make sure we honor them as well. Service members, we would love for you to please wear your uniform. Please follow the link below to RSVP to our event by November 6. Please only complete this form once. If you have children in multiple grades please put both names and teachers in the space provided. If there is any trouble with the link, please email Christa Agee at cagee@richland2.org.
