-Tuesday, August 29th - Parent Orientation (You can choose to come from 5:30-6:15 or 6:30-7:15.  I hope to see you then!  If you are unable to attend either session, I am happy to send you all of the information I will be covering.) 
-Monday, September 4th - School Holiday (Labor Day)

*We will not be using Friday Folders this year any papers from the office will come home daily in his/her binder.  Thank you so much for all of the paperwork you've completed and returned. 
*Non-uniform dress day will be every Friday. 
*You may find our daily schedule on the top row of our blog.  Our lunch time is at 12:09 PM and you are more than welcome to join us.  Thank you!
*Our school newsletter, The Communigator, is online as a blog site. There is one newsletter for the school which contains information for both the lower and upper campuses of Lake Carolina Elementary.

Hey, just wanted to thank all of you who were able to come out to Open House last night.  I enjoyed meeting each one of you and looking forward to an awesome school year.  Please mark this date down Tuesday, August 29, 2017.  This is our Orientation night.  I will go into full details about school and classroom procedures.  There will be a 5:30 and 6:30 session.

Welcome 2nd Gators

Hello, gator and gator families. My name is Mr. Harold Johnson and I will be your child's teacher for the 2017-2018 school year. I am excited to learn about you and your families. Here is a picture of my family. My wife, Charae'a is the Reading Coach at Polo Road Elementary. My oldest son's name is Breylon and he is 10 and will be entering middle school this year (pray for us). My daughter Kaidyn is 3 and my youngest son Grayson just turned 2 and they both attend Chesterbrook Academy. We enjoy spending time together, playing games, and going on trips.  We are a football family.  I coach Varsity football at Ridgeview High School in Columbia SC.  My wife is a former cheerleader, and my oldest son plays Pop Warner.  I have been teaching since 2010.  I graduated from Coastal Carolina University (#TealNation) with a B.A. in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Health Promotions.  I am currently two credits shy of receiving my Reading Teacher Endorsement.  I look forward to the amazing year we are going to have this year!  If you need me my email is hjohnson@richland2.org, my room is 105, my number is (803) 714-1300 ext 3105.
