Sneak a Peek at Next Week (January 1-5)

Happy Friday!!  There is a great curriculum-based website that students can use as practice over the winter break.  Just go to  https://www.thelearningodyssey.com/ and students will use their username and password to login.  The school will be LCEUC but that should show up automatically.  It is aligned with their MAP reading and math goals for the spring and is an excellent site.  I hope all of my students and their families have a wonderful winter break and holiday, and don't forget to read, read, read!!

*Note from the nurse: As part of the eight components of school health, School Nurses conduct periodic vision, dental, hearing, blood pressure, and other screenings as recommended by SC DHEC, and as needed as part of the nurse's assessment during a health room visit. These screenings are important in early detection of hearing or vision difficulties that may impact teaching and learning. Many times a student is not even aware he/she is having difficulty seeing the board, reading, or hearing classroom instructions. Please contact Nurse Mishoe if you do NOT want a screening done on your child.  The Lion's Club will be here next Wednesday, Nov 8th to perform vision screenings.
